For the 2019-20 school year, the St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Board of Education has made the following modifications to the uniform policy for elementary students:

In place of "Shirts must be solid color with a collar," the uniform policy now reads, "Shirts must have a collar." All collared shirts-solid, striped, or patterned-are permitted.

Also, in place of "Jeans are not permitted, except on out-of-uniform days," the policy now reads, "Jeans are permitted."

No other changes were made to the uniform policy for elementary students. The entire policy can be found in the student handbook.
