Cross Country Runners Needed

Coach John Wilson and I still need some junior high and high school boys and girls to join cross country.

For the HS boys, I need one more boy so our boys team can score as a team in race - we need to have 5. We have had a couple of injuries to our boys that have depleted our roster. I have some dedicated seniors and hate that their senior season might be lessened by low numbers.

Thanks for any encouraging words you can give students to try cross country!

Thank you,
Mike Radtke

91-year-old WWII veteran gets high school diploma

Dr. Webb presented Bob Bockelman, 91-year-old WWII veteran with his high school diploma on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Mr. Bockelman, originally from St. Bernard, left school as a junior to volunteer in World War II. After returning from war he earned his GED, however, one of his biggest regrets was not receiving his high school diploma. St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Schools, Florence Assisted Living, and the non-profit Second Wind Dreams joined forces to make his dream a reality. Congratulations Mr. Bockelman and thank you for your service!
